New Enhancement: Shore Excursions Link

Odysseus has expanded its partnership with Shore Excursions Group and this article introduces a new feature that makes planning your adventures even easier — View Shore Excursions! We now support the display of Shore Excursions specific to your cruise itinerary by clicking on the "View Shore Excursions" button.  This button can be displayed on all or some of the booking path as needed and also included as part of your booking confirmation email by updating your dictionary.

Where to Find Shore Excursions Link
Once you select your sailing, you’ll see the “Click to view Shore Excursions” button right below the itinerary (on the Landing, Category Selection, Cabin Selection, and Checkout pages. This option stays visible all the way through the booking path and the Booking Details/Confirmation page, so you can explore tours anytime during your booking journey.

 ➡️Users can click on the “Click to view Shore Excursions” button from any page. This will open a new tab on the browser and take the user to the shore excursions available for the selected itinerary.

 


    ➡️ Clients can manage the text of the button using the dictionary label: Lbl_ViewShoreExcursion

    📧If interested in this feature, please open a ticket:
    • Subject line should say "Enable Shore Excursions Link" for your "Parent Site Name or SIID".  If you want the feature enabled on a specific affiliate, please mention that specific affiliate name or SIID. 
    • Add your SEG (Shore Excursions Group) ID while opening a ticket and copy your SEG representative or Paul Kiritsy (pkiritsy@shoreex.com) on the ticket.  If you are not contracted with SEG, please contact Paul Kiritsy.
    • No information related to the excursions booked is currently returned to Odysseus.  Therefore, no details or costs related to the excursion are part of your itinerary display. 

    Shore Excursion Link in Email
    Shore excursion links in confirmation or promotional emails are controlled by a small, reusable HTML block. Add this block to the email template where the button should appear.
