Dynamic Rules – How to Update Icon and Name

With the new update:
All clients will see a new sub-folder called “Dynamic Rules” under the Images folder in the File Upload module.
Clients can now:
  1. Replace existing Dynamic Rule icons with their own icons
  2. Update the Dynamic Rule name (where supported in the application)
Where to find Dynamic Rule icons
  1. Log in to the application.
  2. Go to Content >> File Uploads page as shown in the image below.

  3. Open the Images folder.

  4. Inside this folder, a sub-folder named Dynamic Rules is visible, as shown below.


  5. Open the Dynamic Rules folder to see the list of existing icon files.


How to replace a Dynamic Rule icon
  1. Open File Upload → Images → Dynamic Rules.
  2. Find the icon that needs to be changed.
  3. Look at the icon’s file name.
    1. Example: promo_rule.png or discount_rule.svg.
    2. Copy or write down this name.
  4. Prepare the new icon file.
    1. On the computer, rename the new icon file to the same name as the old icon.
    2. The name must match exactly:
      1. Same spelling
      2. Same capital letters
      3. Same file type (for example: .png, .jpg, .svg)
  5. Delete the old icon file in the Dynamic Rules folder.
  6. Upload the new icon file to the Dynamic Rules folder.
  7. The system will now show the new icon wherever that Dynamic Rule icon is used in the booking flow.
